Quambatook community resource centre

The Quambatook Community Resource Centre is a vibrant hub of activity in downtown Quamby.

Offering a wide range of services, information and equipment, the Centre is open three days a week; Monday 9am – 5.30pm, Wednesday 9am – 5pm and Friday 9am – 5.30pm

A branch of the Gannawarra Library, the QCRC has full access to library collections across Victoria in addition to the everchanging books, Audio books and DVDs that are all available for your enjoyment in our very own little library in Guthrie street.

Free Wifi and computer access along with secretarial services, IT help with ours or your own devices, and hire of equipment all fall under the capabilities of your friendly Neighbourhood House. If you need it printed, laminated or bound into a book, we can take care of it for you.

We are also a Centrelink Access point giving you access to a dedicated Centrelink computer, telephone and fax. Whilst not able to give advice or information about payments, staff can certify documents and assist with lodgement of forms if required.

The monthly publication of the Mallee Root News is another project of the QCRC.  Contributions are welcome and should be lodged by the first Wednesday of the month. We love photos and news about weddings and birthdays, achievements, community events and anything generally interesting about the Quamby community current or expat. Email or drop in.

Is there something you would like to learn more about? We’ve run workshops and courses about Beekeeping, Indonesian cooking, First Aid, IPads and IPhones just to name a few and we’re always happy to hear your ideas and suggestions.

So be sure to call in for a chat or a cuppa, the kettle is always on and see what we can do for you, or let us know what you might like to learn. We’re warm in the winter and cool in the summer, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. We’re here for everyone 😊
